This thing is pretty much bomb proof. We used it for a long time, but with a remodel and kids, we just don't have the room for it anymore. It's very sturdy, easily supporting a grown adult, though I'm not sure why a grown adult would feel the need to be on top of a coffee table. It's got a lot of storage space inside it. Plenty of room to store whatever you need to shove in it. It's been well loved, so has a fair amount of dings and scrapes, but I'm pretty sure this thing will outlast me.

It's about 33"x50"x20".
