Eligibility
✅ Lived in the U.S. for 183 days and qualify under the Substantial Presence Test
✅ First-time filer (no previous claims for the benefit)
✅ 18 years or older (dependents may still qualify through a parent or spouse; only one person files per household)
Application Process (I had assistance with mine)
File the appropriate IRS tax form (Form 1040 or 1040-NR).
Enter your personal and residency information accurately.
Submit electronically or by mail to the IRS.
Once approved, the benefit is issued via direct deposit or mailed check.
